Bottle at the Gouda Winterbier fest, 2014. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy off white head. The aroma is weak malt yeast. The flavour is medium bitter with a weak watery yeast bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

14/X/13 - 75cl bottle @ home - BB: 15/VII/12 (2013-958) Thanks to Tinus for sharing the bottle!
Clear ruby red beer, big fluffy yellow head, aery, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, red apples, some caramel, bit lemony. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter hoppy start, bit fruity, peaches and banana, caramel, nice sweet touch as well. Aftertaste: quite a lot of dried fruits, raisins, bit of caramel, fudge, green banana, dark chocolate, bitter ending. Way better than I'd expected! Guess ageing this was the right thing to do, Tinus! :-)

Warning! Early amateur rating! Dark brown beer, quite sweet but has a bitterish finish. Not fruity for the style but decent.

Bottle at ’t Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Clear deep red - brown beer. Small tan head. Light fruity nose. Light dry palate, a tad soft. The malt tastes a little aged. Some fruit mostly generic but with a cherry just coming out on top. Neutral finish. Alright and 3.5 years after my original early rating - still a 3.4!
