Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, reddish dark brown beer with a small, dense, beige head. Candy-ish, alcoholic aroma with dried fruits and some caramel. The flavor has some bitterness to balance the malty sweetness and dried fruit. Some candy and alchol too. Warming and semi-dry, finishing with alcohol, sugary fruityness and some caramel. 110415

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are roast malt, nuts, fruits, hops, yeast and syrop.

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear deep amber with an off-white head. Caramellish nose with a honey touch. Very solid body, Burned caramel with a flowery note, fruity, pumpernickel accents and a very subdued bitterness, yet very balanced. 150411

Draught @ Haze Burg Cafe, Putterweg 43, 3851 GA Ermelo, Netherlands.Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, brown sugar, malty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, roasted, brown sugar, licorice notes. Body is medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. I have noteted down from sales display at cafe that ABV. is 7.5% ? [20101221]

Bottle. Dark brown color. Roasted malt and the slightest hint of cherry confit in the aroma. Malty sweeisth roasty flavor with cherry confit, laurel and caramel. Medium to full bdoied. Subdued alcohol. Good!
