On Saturday 21st May 2016 I visited Pizza Port’s San Clemente brewpub and had two flights of four beers, this was on the second one. Pale gold with a fading white head. Standard Pilsner/Lager really although this one had a little bit of an aroma, some floral notes within it’s nose. Not a lot going on taste wise, mild fruity traces with a weak malt base. Inoffensive and refreshing is the best I can say about it.

Can on the train into NYC. Pours clear yellow-gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy white head. Great aroma, lots of bright and juicy hops, some crispy biscuits, straw. Light-medium sweet flavor with lightly sugary pale bread, more biscuits, some tropical fruits, citrus, pineapple, ripe lemon, papaya. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, with further pale bready sweetness, a little dank pine, grass, hay, lemon, tangerine, mango. Great stuff. A really enjoyable ’modern’ hoppy pils.
