Bottle. An unclear, dark golden to amber colored beer with a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is sure on the malty side, with toffee, bread and some prunes. Hints of alcohols and canned pears. It’s full-bodied and soft on the palate, with toffee, fruit caramel, bread and a little bitterness to deal with what sweetness is left. Lasting bready and toffee-ish finish. Quite nice this one, but a tad boring I think. 150227

Bottle 330ml (Alko)
Dark brown color, small steady off-white head. Raisins and dates in the nose. Medium-bodied. Quite sweet flavor with raisins and even some banana. Malty, not alcoholic. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. This is almost like kind of abbey dubbel. Not too bad.

33cl bottle. Dark, mahogany color, thin off white head. Vinous aroma at first, fermented berries, malt. Flavor has banana , nutty, woody notes. some alcohol in finish. Hard to define, yeah flavor wise English strong ale but the aroma says something else. Quite interesting brew nonetheless.

A dark brown beer with a creamy, medium and beige head. Taste has strong bread, some caramel, strong herbs, hint of fruitcake and fruitesters. Taste has bread, mild sweetness and balanced bitterness, some fruits. At least medium bodied, very nice and smooth palate. Nice and drinkable beer. Bready.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 08/2015
Aroma has ripe fruits, toffee, hayish malt and cereal. Flavour is sweetish with harsh malt, toffee, cereal, hayish hops, some grapefruit and ripe fruits. Somewhat sweet and rather hoppy for a Lammin beer.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 8/2015, from Alko, 20150207) Tjhe beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had malts, sugary sweetness and yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, sugary sweetness, light burntness and low bitterness. Afertaste was roasty, sweet and bitter. A confusing. beer. Some parts resembled a dubbel, some parts were close to a porter and some reminded of a brown ale. Yet I liked.
