When we expanded our brewery in 2013, the stress was something, to say the least. I ran out of creative juice for a minute so I decided to have another one for inspiration.

Flavor Profile: Aromas of pineapple, mango, and guava with notes of orange, grapefruit, and melon. Undertones of earthy, woody pine, and faint onion and garlic.

Hops: Cascade, Citra, Simcoe

Malt: American 2-Row, Red Wheat, Carapils

A well-balanced and well made IPA. Mangos were front and centre in the nose and the taste, with orange, punchy pineapple and apricot adding to a nice mix. A nice touch of soapiness adds to the complexity. Bready sweet malt sets this beer up well for success.

Bright yellow with bubbles from bottle. Mostly hops and resin more so than citrus. Lots to like here.

I obtained a Teku glass pour from tap at As Is NYC yesterday on our last day of holiday. I saw an unclear yellow-gold body completed by a lacey, solidly white skim of foam. The scent was tropical fruit with some citrus and grain. The drink was white bread, oranges, more of the grain, lemons and grass. Slightly bitter. Good in the style.

Bottle at home, in the garden, picked up at J and B Craft Drinks, Amsterdam, 22nd June 24. Pours a light hazy orange, perfect white head, aromas of grapefruit, melons, citrus, pith and pine. Tasting is grapefruit, melon, pith, citrus, really clean, medium bitter, well made and tidy IPA.

On tap at Kasey's Tavern. Pours a hazy gold with and orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light tropical fruit with pineapple, citrus and light sweet grains supporting. Flavor has a nice citrus and a slight pineapple bite with light mango and sweet grains backing.

Bottle from Harvest. Pours a clearish gold with a full two fingers of fluffy foam that lingers. Pineapple, citrus rind, lime and white grapefruit on the nose. More of the same on the palate. Soft mouthfeel with a nice well-rounded body. Medium to low bitterness on the finish with citrus and stone fruit.

Shaker pint at Cork City in Hoboken, New Jersey. The pour is hazy yellow gold with a small white head that is lasting. The aroma is cereal malt, soft tropical citrus and a hint of pine. The taste is a nice blend of the fresh cereal malt grain, the tropical citrus fruit, and a bit of bitterness from citrus peel and pine in the back. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and dry softly bitter finish.
