Score
8.05
ABV: 8.0% IBU: 65 Ticks: 100
Originally brewed in celebration of the first anniversary of Row 34, our favorite Fort Point oyster bar and craft-beer purveyor, Vicinity highlights a neighborhood collaboration of passion and vision. The beer's appearance is a yellow straw-color, with a significant haze. Heavy citrus aromas of pineapple, orange flesh and mango dance on the nose and palate. The pilsner malt provides a medium body and wraps up each sip with a slight balancing bitterness.

Burk från Drik Beer, en månad gammal. Gul, tjockt disig, inte mycket till krona. Ananasspad, mango, passionsfruktsjuice, apelsin. Bra tryck i, lite värme från alkoholen. Tyvärr lite bränna från humlen. Börjar väldigt bra, men sen känns det av. Fortfarande över medel.

Taste from a can. Pours a hazy, orange color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is orange peel, rye, pine, cereals, and wet grass. Sticky bitterness. Medium body, with a pulpy, acidic feel. Pretty good.

Can, one off from De Bierkoning, canned Dec. 29. Pours a murky yellow colour with a frothy/soapy white head. Aroma's of soft fruit, resin and onion. Retronasal there' still some soft fruit, but also citrus rind and resinous bitterness. Flavour is light fruity sweet and moderate bitter. Above moderate hopburn. Quite bitter finish.

From the source in cans: pours murky orange haze with a white loose head. Aroma is very pungent... mostly citrus, but other tropical fruit notes as well... seemingly contrary to what most people noted. Taste is very fruity and juicy. Light dry bitterness. Subdued sweetness. Still very smooth and enjoyable to drink. I approve.

Pours a slightly hazy amber from a can, white head dissipates with minimal lacing. Aroma is nice tropical fruit, see others' reviews for sampling of the fruits involved. Similar flavor, nicely sweet, hides the alcohol, not as big as some of Trillium's other DIPAs but pretty good overall.
