12 oz can and former member of the surely I rated this already club. Pours a clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma is herbal, pine, spicy hops. Flavor has pine and herbal hops, toasty biscuit, a touch of butterscotch. Not bad.

Draft at 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a clear copper with a finger of off-white foam that dissipates. Grassy, leafy nose with some grapefruit and pine. Toasted caramel, pine and leafy arugula. Bitter and bold. Light bodied. Light lemon zest on the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Train Hopper on 29 Jul 2019 at 19:59 - Score: 7. Slightly hazy medium golden colour, tall frothy off-white head, good retention, fair lacing. Subdued aroma, pale malt, butterscotch, light grapefruit, pine. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, citrus, butterscotch, pine resin. Hoppy bittersweet aftertaste, orange pith, spicy notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bit unusual but well-made and very good American IPA.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but was released locally this week. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.9%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Great balanced mix of juicy, dank, and earthy hops; nice bready malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. Pretty old school feeling stuff, but still delicious. Classic C's and Amarillo/Simcoe hops probably. A very enjoyable offering.

No head or carbonation left; red-ochre beer. Grapefruit, milkwey, babymilk, exotic fruit, mild. Wry-bitterish taste, woody, grapefruitpeel, walnut peel. Not very lively [tasted in less than ideal circumstances], medium bodied at best. Good IPA Thanks to Louis and Mathieu!

Thanks to ElManana+1! 32 oz. growler sampled @ “Tim’s orgasmic Trillium tasting”. Light golden, small white head. Nose is sweetish pine resin, caramel, orange, some sweetish butter. Taste is buttery pine resin, oily, caramel, touch butterscotch, malt, USA hops & some sugar. Body is lower carbonation & some butter. Okay beer, touch too sweetish & buttery for me.
