A traditional farmhouse ale made with a very expressive yeast strain that contributes an array of tropical fruit, spice flavors and aromatics. Brewed with a variety of harvest grains including barley, wheat, oats and rye as was likely the case with farmhouse brewers of yore. The result is a complex, refreshing and distinctive example of this esoteric style. Intensely fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lychee), slightly spicy (clove, white pepper)

Sample from a can at Veteran's. Pours a pale, unclear, yellow color, with a medium, foamy, off-white head. The aroma is light orange peel, hay, white sugar, and some cloves. Sweet and sugary, with not much bitterness. Light body, with a crisp, syrupy mouthfeel. This is a pretty weak, overly malty saison.

Aroma of yeast, typical of a saison. Pours a clear light gold with a thick head. Taste of malt and yeast. Palate is lighter than is typical of a saison but it still has the traditional elements, iron taste.
