On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata intensa, limpida, schiuma bianca media persistente. Al naso sentori di lieviti, pane, miele, leggero erbaceo. In bocca è bilanciata, base di malto media con finale leggermente luppolato. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione media. Discreta, fresca, ma non lascia il segno.

Tap at Luppolo Station in Rome-Italy. Dark golden pour, off-white head. Nose:a bit honey, mild caramel, noble hops. Mouth is rustic, raw malty, rustic and frizzy finish.

Getrunken 2016 auf einem Food-Festival im Wiener Stadtpark an einem Stand, der nur Bier und Wurst verkaufte. Das Wiener Lager ist ein gut malziges, rotbraunes Bier mit einer angenehmen Süße. Auch wenn es keine Aromenbombe ist, so passt es gut als gemütliches Feierabendbier.

Modeste 2015. Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is a bit sweet, rich lageryeastyness. Taste is a bit bitter, lageryeast, rich, malty. Nice balance and intensity.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Modeste 2015. Deep orange, bubbles on the side. Nose is sweetish paper, bit dull, touch insecticide, dull dough & yeast. Taste is dull plaster, yeast, sugar, hay, stone fruit, sweet paper. Body, is light, clean with light dough & paper. Okay but boring with papery taste but passable with no flaws.

Gushing to huge beige-yellowish head, fluffy, over hazy orange beer. Herbal, bit grassy, some caramel or toast; not very imposing. Slightly spiced, malty. BIt of (wet) cardboard too. More or less edible husks, if that makes some sense. Warming up, decidedly nutty flavour. Good carbonation, light slickness, very light body. Rather unremarkable. Thanks, Hans B!
