[33cl bottle at Oporto Airport.] A bright amber pour with a dense cream head and moderate carbonation; bready aroma with some yeast and caramel; then a smooth malty body with a caramel taste. A pleasant amber beer.

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of dry caramelized malt notes with light bready notes are pleasant. Taste is a good mix of dry caramelized malt notes with some bready notes, light residual sugar with some light yeasty notes also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nothing earth shattering but well brewed bière de garde.

F: huge, tan, average retention. C: dark amber/brown, hazy, opaque. A: malty, light vaguely fruity, bit caramel, bit toffee, bready, yeasty. T: very caramel malty, bit toffee, sweet bready, spoiled yeasty, very rough, not according the style, medium body and higher carbonation, definitely need improvements, 33cl bottle from Supercor supermarket @ Rua de Aleixo da Mota in Porto.
