Sampled as Octane Overlord with smoked & peated malt. Can says brewed 2021 Small yellowish rim on jet-black beer. Shoepolish, peat, tarr, Islay malt, smoke, phenolic. Islay malt, Rauch, dark chocolate, burnt caramel and candi sugar; restrained sweetness. Bit fatty feel, again chocolate(sauce), oily. Soft carbonation. Quite good RIS - maybe more than a bit punch-in-the-face, but in a way I like. Txs to Stef!

2020- version, at 12%. Can from Beers@Moviefun. Lots of peat, black olive, tobacco, soy, teriyaki in the aroma. Taste has sweetened fondant, umami soy & black olive; ashy toast & tobacco, firm peated whisky alcohol. Delicious still (as the previous version).

28/8/21: 2021 can, to compare with Indulgence. Decent thickness, but could be softer. Very peaty, bitter, roasty. Something lightly oily there. Pretty well made, and definitely not as sweet as many of their other stouts. Bit too one dimensional to be great.
3/4/22: Black, brown head, firm. Smells roasty, some chocolate, bit sweet. Smooth body, pretty thick. Taste is a bit on the sweet side, but very roasty giving plenty of bitterness. Coffee with a bunch of sugar thrown in. Slight hints of smokyness. Quite pleasant.

Pitch black, oily. Roasted malts, coffee, umami, smokey, cattle feed. Fairly bitter, thick and chewy. Right up my alley.

Can shared. Opaque black color, brown head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, slight smoke hints, bitter, malt bitter, soy sauce, roast. Medium body, decent carbonation. Alright.
