500ml can sold to me by djoeye. Shared at a tasting session with Synny, lmojoh, and Finn. Fair white head, near-clear golden body, lacing rings down the glass. Moderate smell of pale malts, mid-sweet. Grainy taste with hints of grass. Lightly metallic and noticeable alcohol to the ending. Nothing to get too excited about. (Tromsø, 12.12.2024)

Can 50 cl. Comes as “Karlsbräu Helles Bock”. Pours a clear, deep golden with a neat and dense, lacing white head. Malty nose, straw and sugar. Solid body, yet slick with surprisingly little malt character. Perfectly clean and not really boozy or rough, just….slick. As if it was made from mostly sugars. No bitterness either. I guess you could call it a German style Malt Liquor - kinda. Not unpleasant at all, just has very little personality or character. 111024
