1/VIII/20 - 33cl bottle from Au Village Gourmand (Dinant), shared @ my parents’ place, BB: 26/II/21 (2020-708)
Clear dark blond to orange beer, small creamy bit irregular off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: spicy, some band-aid, fruity touch, apricots, bit oxidized, almonds, cloves. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of curcuma all right, very pronounced, bit oxidized, malty, sweet touch, caramel notes. Aftertaste: more oxidation going on here, bit sweet, caramel, still lots of curcuma, more curcuma.

33cl bottle, bought and drank in the Bier Paleis, Brugge on 3rd Feb 2020. Light haze to the amber body, large white billowing head. Definite turmeric and pepper feel to the nose and taste, interesting and different.

33cl bottle from Carrefour market, Rue des Champs 27 in Brussels. F: big, egg-white, good retention. C: deep gold to amber, hazy. A: malty, fruity, curcuma of course, spicy, peach. T: medium malty base, sweet vaguely fruity, light curcuma, caramel, bit bready, medium to high carbonation, I like very much curcuma so ok but beside this nothing really special.
