A well done ipa. Balanced between hop aroma and mild bitterness. Fresh and clean, no astringency. Solid for the style. Kihoskh adventkalendar 2020

Bottle from Carrefour, Ninove. Best before: 7/8/19. Pours hazy orange with a stable, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of old mango, orange, biscuit, peanut, plum, frying oil, yeast. Taste has sweetish mango, orange & biscuit, bitter paprika & slight bell pepper, all the while yeasty. Dry, resinous hoppy finish, somewhat grainy, yeasty still with old mango. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. I get where they might have wanted to go but this is not convincing.

Tap at Frisches Bier. Hazy yellow body, off whtie head. Aroma... oof, fairly dead, light old pineapple notes. Dead malty, grainy taste, very light fruity touches, more raisiny than anything. Good body by all means, all else... nah. Kinda goes agains the name of the place I've had it at. To be rerated perhaps, though the scores here don't give me hope it's much better fresh.

Lecker. (11.2.2020.)

0.33 bottle in Munich. Amber with fast disappearing head. Spicy grains in the nose. Mostly German hop notes but a bit of citrus fruits and dankness; reading the label explains everything as it's a German American hop marriage. The aftertaste is too bitter and lingering for me, a bit astringent, this kills my palate.
