Es hat alles was ein IPA braucht. Es ist hell, herb, etwas stärker und super fruchtig. Fünf Hopfensorten in Kombination sorgen für dieses Geschmackserlebnis.

Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have earthy and herbal hops, toasted malts.

Butilka: Deep golden, clear, smaller but at least stable off-white foamy layer; malty - almost a bit caramelly - nose with distinctive traces of soy-sauce and herbal hops; pretty light bodied for a beer of 6.5%, but at least soft, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; lingering dry - but not too dry - bitter-hoppy(piney) and malty finish. All in all too tame…

Borefts VII. Day 1. Keg. Almost clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has mild fine carbonation. Sweetish malts and sweet dried friuts. Light floralness in the light finish. It’s okay. Nice to see German brewers doing IPAs but many of them have a long way to go.

Bottle split at BBF 7, Bodegraven, 25/09/15. Clear golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is bready, pale malt, straw, orange squash. Taste comprises caramel malt, straw, orange, biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so ... A pretty pedestrian IPA.

Thanks for sharing! (I cannot read my notes stating who gave it to me, sorry but I think it was Fonefan). Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Borefts 2015. Day 1. Clear amber, creamy white head. Nose is bitter, hop is very metallic. Taste is sweet oily, corn, strongly metallic, sugar, hay, dull, sweet & metallic. Very oily body. Not really what an IPA should be.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Grainy and slightly doughy malty nose with moderately citrus-fruity and delicately resiny hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Grainy malty base with mildly citric and delicately resiny, spicy hop; sweet malt-accented finish with a rather restrained hops character for an IPA. Likeable brew but style-wise unconvincing. 18.III.15
