Hazy dark brown color; big head. The aroma is malty. Good malty taste, round, with some caramel. Balanced bitterness. Good.

(Bottle 75 cl) Unclear, dark amber with a gigantic, beige head leaving huge lumps on the side of my glass. Aroma of roasted malt and a slight tartness. Roasted, malty flavours, mainly dry with some artisanal touches. Solid craftmanship. 221205

Cloudy brown color, medium brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, bit spicy of wheat and fruity of grape/prune. Taste is slightly watery, roasted and chocolate malts. Lasting palate. Nice double styled beer.

Huge, fine light-brown head; fully hazy dark chestnut beer. Caramel, vanilla aroma's, fresh shrubbery smell later. Also a reek of coffee-cream. Roasted malts define the taste, maybe some Maillard. Soft sweet taste, not very remarkable, vaguely nutty, bit of almond-chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, slightly oily mouthfeel. Some alcoholburn. Unremarkable, forgettable.

Brown sugar and fruit aroma, slightly phenolic at that. Cloudy brown, Lowish creamy head. Fruity fresh belgian yeast flavors and quite some candy sugar. Light mouthfeel and body. Pleasant but not overwhelming.
