Tap@Hopfenreich, Berlin - orange amber pour with good white head and lacing. Aroma and taste is a mix of sweet tropical and citrus fruits, caramel malt backbone, some piny and herbal hoppy hit coming from this, overall pretty decent IIPA.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an unclear amber with lots of impurities and an off-white head. Grease hop aroma combined with a chemical note. Rich, malty, fruity, caramellish body - that chemical off-note just keeps growing, a fermentation error? Lots of hops in there for sure, they just aren’t crisp at all. 250615

Sampled draft @ “Kaapse Brouwers 1st Anniversary Beer Festival”. Dark orange, little white head. Nose is rustic light pine resin, bitter grapefruit peel, very oily. Taste is oily pine resin hops, tad milky, rather malty for what it should be, oily & tad thin. Weakest of the 4 beers that I have tried so far from these guys. Okay but rather weak for the style.

Tap @ Kaapse Fest, small sample. Almost clear golden color, short frothy head. Aroma has some citrussy hops, bit pine, slight grainy malt. Bit dry and bitter in taste. Body is a bit thin for an imperial IPA, bitterness a bit on the harsh side. Decent beer.

Tap at Kaapse festival. Clear golden with big white head. Milky peach and orange, breakfast cereal with dried fruits, red apple and quite some yeast. Medium sweet with light tart fruity touch and medium bitter finish. Medium bodied.
