500ml bottle, "At the Hop #3", 5.5%. Orangey golden amber colour, short-lived foamy white head and aroma of tangy apple, apple skins, barnyard, woody. Taste is sour with citrus zest, resins, hoppy, followed by apple, funk, leather, rubber, woody notes with a drying tannic tartness. Slightly oily but drying mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry sour earthy tannic finish. Interesting, very drinkable.

Clear warm golden colour, dissipating white head. Aroma of apple, light barn, sweet apple skin, fruity hop, citrus, light hay. Fruity flavour, light bitter, refreshing! Finish lemon zest, fruity, apple. Nice!!
(from 50cL bottle @ home. As At the Hop #3, but also "a bittersweet cider infused with Cascade hops", so I assume it’s an alias of #2.)

Sampled 500 ml. bottle as “At the Hop #3” – a bittersweet cider infused with Cascade Hops @ “Kaapse Brouwers 1st Anniversary Beer Festival”. Darker orange with lots of visible carbonation. Nose is big rustic hops, light funk with sweet apple & fruity hops. Taste is juicy hops, light funk, some bitter apple peel, rustic, dry,… Lovely. I seem to quite dig hoppy cider’s, more please.

Bottle at ChrisO’s. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is juicy, apple concentrate, orange, apricot and sherbet. The taste is bitter, drying, sweet apple, pear skin, leather, mild astringency and wood with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Turns out hoppy cider can work rather well. Nice stuff.

Bottle from Three Counties Cider (Once Upon a Tree) shop in Ledbury, Herefordshire, courtesy of Loz, Saturday 14th March consumed at home Sunday 22nd March 2015 This appears to be the next and newer (latest harvest probably) its a slightly weaker version of At The Hop Cider and it’s a cracker. The apple is tangled up with the hops on the nose, the hops taking away some of that real zap you sometimes get from cider, the nose has a rather perfumey edge, a little bath scented floralness. Wonderfully bittersweet, juicy but also a bit drier. Just had this with one of Loz’s homemade Creme Brulee yum...great. I think that the hops do add, they are more back seat but is the way it should be. A lovely cider. A8 A5 T7 P4 Ov15 3.9
