2008 vintage. 375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out complex wine barrels, some musty grape skins, and a lovely tartness. Flavour is clean and well-balanced, with lightly tart wine barrels and musty grape skin. Not a whole lot of complexity, but it's very clean and laid-back. Very nice stuff.

Thanks to Kraddel. 330 ml. bottle. 2008 vintage. Pours hazy citrus golden with only some brief bubbles. Nose is absolutely awful, huge mould nose, rotting leaves, rotting fruits, rain water, spoiled yoghurt, 100 % oxidation,… Taste is similar, pure oxidation, lots & lots of mould mixed with rain water, rotting, spoiled yoghurt in huge quantities, zero fruit, more mould, light walnut oxidation in the back. Flat, completely oxidized body. This absolutely horrible & instant drainpour. I have no idea what happened here, I have had an old La Mummia & it was very good. MacMummia I have had was great as wonderful. I was looking forward to this one. Oxidation & age play a huge role here. I think that the bottle might have been badly closed even. Either way this was disgusting. Than again, someone at the table liked it so go figure.

28/06/2011 Open Baladin Roma (330ml bottle).

2015-10-07, bottle, vintage 2008, Lotto 42/08/T, bb 31/12/14
Hazy dark blond color, almost no carbonation, with sparse bubbles. Very nice aroma, some wood and funky character. Smooth mouthfeel; delicate degree of acidity, a bit lemony, with more fruity presence.
Excellent.
2010-03-06, bottle, brought at Italian Beer Festival 2010 by the brewer, Riccardo, thanks!

Hazy blond color; sparse head. At first impression, the aroma reminds me a delicate and harmonious Lambic, with a wonderful game of citrus fruits and Bretts; later, there is a light touch of apples and hazelnuts, a bit milky too.
It has a good body strength, thanks to a possible residual sweetness, that is anyway hidden by the strong lemon, citrus fruit character; the Bretts are more incisive in the beginning, smoother later.
The final is short at first, longer with the later sips.
When the bottle is just opened, it’s more peculiar, after a while is more complete. Excellent job!

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes brettanomyces, lemon, and some fruit. The flavor is acidic with notes of lemon, brettanomyces, vinegar, and apples, leading to a tart finish. The acidity burns lightly in the throat.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a small white head. Dry and tart Bretty nose with quite some lactic acid as well. Light body, dry fruit, lots of lactic acid, acetone and Brett. Ends dry and very quenching. Yummy indeed. 100810

37.5 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is milky and mild citric. Lacto, citric and mild wheaty flavoured. Citric and towards a dry wooden note. Ends dry and mild fruity.6-3-7-3-13=3.2
33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is acidic, orange, fruity and leathery. Dry and citric flavoured. Lingering grapefruity and slight leathery. Citric and dry finish. Aging has certainly improved on this beer. 8-4-8-3-16
