Golden colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have a subtle fruitiness like blackcurrant. Lots of caramel malt notes too. The smokiness is intense with meat and leather. 8 years old and still good.

12-01-17 // bottle shared at home. Crazy experiment. Nose is so much smoke, smokey ham. It twistes my stomach. Taste is first light sweet malty, almost a touch of fruits, but after you swallowed it, it instantly provides a heavy smoke and smokey ham aroma. Love it or hat it I think. --- Beer merged from original tick of 100% Peated on 12 Jan 2017 at 20:45 - Score: 2. Original review text: 100% smoked scottish peak malt. Holy shit. What a nose! Smokey ham! Taste is dominantly smokey in the finish.

250ml Bottle (Thanks Cunningham) - Dark amber in colour. Smells and tastes like an ashtray. Awful and no balance. At least they were honest on the label!

Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of whisky and peat. And lots of it. Light sweet flavour, smoke and peat. Peated finish. One Trick Pony, but I rather like it.

Bottle. Orange pour. Aroma of strong peat, smoke and malt. Taste of heavy peat, smoke, sweet malt, caramel and ripe fruit. Better than expected, but a bit one dimensional.

25cl bottle pours a clear orange with some creamy, white head. Nose is crayon and burnt tire and rubber band and plastic. Flavor is smoke, malt, some beech wood, salty bacon, very industrial though, plastic and paint. Full bodied, smokey finish.
