Bottled (from Alko Web). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is peated malts, some sweet liquorice, alcohol and mild nutty tones with some caramel to it. Flavour is caramel malts, fudge, some peated tones, smoked wet wood, liquorice, alcohol and some slight dried fruits. A bit too boozy for my likes.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, minimal head. Huge tarry Islay whisky aroma. Mid sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee, chocolate and lots of peaty Islay whisky. Long bitter warming finish. Complex, at least in the sense of being filled with flavours from a complex whisky. The beer underneath is solid, but there for mere support.

330ml bottle, sampled March 2016. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma: dark malts, dark chocolate, caramel, some leather, iodine peat hints. Taste: moderate sweet with light dryness, caramel and chocolate, oak, whisky barrel, light peat vibes. Medium to full body with soft carbonation. Decent

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small, creamy, fading, beige head. Chocolately dark malty, BA supported aroma, notes of dark chocolate, chocolate sauce, caramel, some leather, a touch of peat. Taste is slightly dry, minimally sweet, caramel and chocolately dark malty, dry BA overtones, notes of dark chocolate, caramel, hints of leather, a touch of peat. Viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, soft carbonation, lingering, minimally cloying, chocolately finish. Good.

Bottle shared with Vestergaard. Pours black with a medium tanned head. Aromas of whisky, warm apple mash, dark bitter chocolate, slight smoke and some good roast. Taste is pretty sweet apple-jam up front, some coffee, licorice, some whisky, nice roast. Bittersweet chocolate finish.

Bottle, gift from ippopotamo36 (thank you Alberto!). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma medio-leggera color cappuccino. Al naso note di caffé, cioccolato, alcol, oliva verde. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, con finale amaro medio. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Leggero etilico di troppo e ossidazione.

Bottle traded from Werckmeister, many thanks! Pours black with quickly disappearing tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dark cherry, prunes and some coffee. Sweet and boozy flavor with cocoa, chocolate and dark, dried fruits. Full bodied. Truly a sipper.

Bottle 330 ml. Black, almost no foam. Aroma: powerful, red port wine, cold coffee and dark chocolate, iodine, smoke and dried fruits. Taste: the best coffee with an excellent whiskey, really cool thing. Great!

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 12%. Pitch black colour, moderate brown head. Aroma of oak, alcohol and roast malts - hints of peated whisky, but not as strong as I feared. Also hints of vanilla, liquorice, caramel and brown sugar. Tarry flavour, not as sweet as expected, medium dry actually. Moderate notes of peat and unsweetened liquorice, also iodine, salt and strong coffee. Some hops in the finish.
