600 ml. bottle sampled @ “Brazilian Tasting”. Thank you tderoeck! BBF 14.06.2015. Very slow gusher. Dark ruby amber, brown, tanned big head. Nose is meaty smoke, light leaves, good Bamberg style smoked malts, feels bit thinned out by age,… Taste is touch thin, smoked Bamberg-style malts, meaty, light soy, wet smoked wood, bit thin, leaves,… Pretty decent, classical beer,… Feels a bit thinned out by age, still quite solid & probably even better fresh.

60cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Tderoeck and 77ships. BB 14/06/2015, lot#229.

22/V/15 - 600ml bottle from a trade @ Brazilian Tasting (home) - BB: 14/VI/15 (2015-665) Thanks to Marlos for the trade!

Clear red to amber beer, creamy beige aery head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty malty, smoky, dried fruits, caramel, more smoke. MF: quite some carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, caramel, pretty smoky, dried fruits, bit sourish. Aftertaste: smoky touch, malts, grains, some milk chocolate, hoppy bitterness. Very well balanced, lovely beer!

Spritziger, etwas süßer Antrunk mit vollmundiger Rauchigkeit. Süffig, konstante Rauchigkeit, die Süße flacht etwas ab. Gut! 10/11/12/11/11/11

Sample from bottle shared with VANØ Bergen. Pours dark amber, with a rather small head. Aroma is smoke and roasted malts, with sweet vanilla and bourbon notes as well as some caramel and ham. Body is medium with an oily texture, and soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet, with oak and a chocolatey mocha-ish coffe.

Bottle. Deep amber body with mahogany highlights. Fizzy, off-white head. Aroma of light smoke and caramel. Notes of peat, bacon and herbal hops. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. A little thin. I liked the light smokiness. It had tastes of smoked meats without being overwhelming. Thanks Jennifer.
