0.33 l bottle from a shop in Herceg Novi. It poured very dark brown-reddish body with brown head that went down a bit faster. Some grass hops in aroma, along with notes of undefined malt, something between pale flowery and dark caramel. Flavor was coffee malted however, but still with lot of pale lager notes like grass and lemon hops. Not too thin bodied, but leaves watery impression. Finish is relatively short and coffee sourish. Tastes almost like pale lager and I’m sure they’ve colored it besides putting some roasted malts which are definitely not dominating here. Not SO bad as it might seem, but still under average.

Thanks to Eva for bringing a bottle (330ml) back from Igalo. Pours a frothy, beige head with lots of bubbles and glass-lacing. Deep, dark mahogany body. Dark malty profile in smell and taste. The aroma is rather weak, while the malty flavour has got support of liquorice, cocoa, grain and salt. A light touch of yeast in the aftertaste. Very dry ending. Moderate bodied and a bit watered palate (Tromsø, 25.10.2007).

1l plastic bottle courtesy of and shared with ozujsko (thanks!) Poured a nice, very dark red (almost black) colour, with a good beige head. The nose is... dried meat, and not much else. Blah. The taste is rotten meat, some tiny roastiness and malt, and nothing else. watery and w.e.a.k.. An crappy porter... heck... I’d hardly call it a porter, more like a terrible schwartzbier. The only thing it does well is the fact that it looks good. The regular Nikšićko is way better. I’m probably being generous with 2.1.

Bottled (BB 02/2005)
Dark ruby, almost opaque. Hoppy aroma, slightly roasted. Grassy hoppy flavor with some sugar sweetness. Sweet and bitter aftertaste. Not far from standard Niksicko.

Canned. Near black, average head. Licorice and coffee up front. Medium dry with sharp mouthfeel leading to a salty finish. Light bodied and dry for an Eastern European porter.

Canned(500ml). -very unpleasant porter, deep black coloured, coffee and metalic aroma(maybe because of can), quick disappearing little head. Plastic bottle(1000ml). -dark brown coloured, almost no head, slight coffee and caramel in aroma with some artificiall dark chocolate hints. Dry and watery finish.
