Bottle - Roasty and some coffee notes with a touch of raisin. Deep brown with a decent white head. Chocolaty, cocoa and a nice light toasty finish. Really nice.

500ml bottle. Darkest brwon colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty dark malty aroma, minimally smoky, grainy, a touch of wet straw, some dark chocolate, cautious hints of blue berries and Worcester sauce. Taste is initially minimally sweet, roasty, chocolately dark malty, minimally fruity with a touch of dark berries, later - with fading sweetness - more and more dry roasty.

Bottle: Poured a clear black color porter with a nice brown foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of chocolate notes with light roasted malt notes is quite sublime. Taste is also dominated by nice chocolate malt notes with light residual sugar notes. Body is too thin for style with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Enjoyable chocolate oriented beer but falls a bit short on the complexity side.

Pours very dark brown with a large head.Nose shows cocoa, milk chocolate, cherry and roasted malt.Similar flavours but with more of a focus on bready malt rather than cocoa or roast. A fair sweetness in the finish.

Aroma and flavour have a fair amount of dark dried fruits and dark, bittersweet malts. Thick and creamy feel.

Bottle @ home. Very dark brown color, medium sized light brown head. Smell and taste malts, lightly earthy, toasted malts, dark malts, caramel, light to moderately bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Quite pleasant.
