Welcome to tropical hop heaven. Soundwave is eminently drinkable, full of flavour and subtle with bitterness. Our most famous beer pours with an inviting haze, while big-hitting American hops deliver fruit notes in abundance and a trademark resinous finish.

Can, 0.33l. Hazy orange pour, one finger frothy white head, medium lasting, good retention. Broken lacing on the glass as it goes down. Fruity nose, citruses and tropical fruits, hints of pine, some herbal notes in the background. Medium body, lively carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft and chewy, nicely creamy. Easily drinkable. Balanced bittersweet taste with hints of tart. Juicy and fruity aroma, tropical fruits, citruses, pineapple. Peach, pine, caramel malt in the background. Mild herbal notes, subtle spiciness. Medium lasting finish, dry. Tasty.

0.33 l can at Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Hazy orange, small to medium white head. Moderately hoppy, fruity, citrusy, juicy, fresh orange juice, some spice, some malts. Hoppy fruity citrusy flavour, juicy, slightly spicy. Some bitterness, some tartness, medium body, great balance, simple but good and fresh. Dry finish. Well done.

Can from local Asda. Aroma is of tropical fruits, mainly pineapple. Pours a golden yellow with a small transient white head. In the mouth it’s a toss up as to what comes first. Sometimes it’s tropical fruits (mango and pineapple), other times it is traditional hoppy bitterness. The old style bitterness wins out at the finish. Rather nice – provided you ignore the “alcoholic lilt” sensation !
