On tap at the brewery. Said to be 14 months old and Jonge was the name or descriptor used by the brewery. It was served with an orange-golden, unclear body and no head. Grapefruit juice and a touch of funk found in the rather weak but far from unpleasant aroma. The flavor is sort of citrusy, blending lemon and grapefruit, but is a bit on the sweet side, and like the aroma, a bit weak. It’s medium bodied and dry on the palate, with some astringency. Short finish. Overall, boring but sure drinkable. 110501

Sampled at the brewery during Toer de Geuze 2011. Hazy apricot coloured body. Naked surface. Dry smell of fruits. Earth and herbs in flavour with a good bite of fresh fruits and berries. Dry, tart and sweet ending. A decent one (Kobbegem, 01.05.2011).

From the barrel (Festival der Bierkulturen, Köln, 2011): golden, hazy, no head to speak of; fruity (apples9 cellary and slightly mouldy nose; moderate bitter-sour flavour, very soft; lingering "bretty" sourish finish, presenting a touch of vanilla and green apples. Very nice drink......
