Light brown. Light chocolate character, moderate body, a bit of tartness. Cocoa finish, overall not nuts about this one.

Bottle thnx to marlos Pours very dark, chocolaty brown to black. Good, very light brown ( towards white) head. Smell is metallic for sure. sweet undertone. Taste is starting of bitter, than turns.. Lactic? mild metallic notes as well - I get those a lot in porters though - Weak body, very high carbo. Paired with the bitterness than overpowers all other aspects, you miss a lot of the depth and complexity dark malts can bring. Which is a shame. Easy drinkable though.

Bouteille 310ml via trade with Marlos. BB 07/2015, lot#411. Brune foncée, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme au bouquet malté rappelant un peu le malta-drêche. Note caramel-chocolaté en poudre et malt brûlé.

Obtained in a trade with Marlos. Shared @ a housewarming. Dark brown, blackish, tanned head; Nose is umami, cheap thin chocolate, cacao puffs & touch liquorish. Taste is sweetish cheap chocolate, cacao puffs, thin body, cheap vending machine coffee, light liquorish, bit cheap & thin tasting,… Indeed a descent session beer as promised, albeit nothing special.

Bottle. Inky black with creamy beige head, coffee aroma, low carbonation, coffee taste tinged with cherries, thin body, abrupt finish. Not too remarkable.

25cl bottle @ the 7th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Aug 14, thanks to Skids. Don’t think any of us found it particularly creamy for a cream porter. Pours very dark brown with off-white head. Sharp, woody notes with a strange malt character. Not tickling many tastebuds this.

The third and final bottle from this brewery at the August Shrewsbury beer swap meeting: cheers Gareth for going to the World Cup and thinking of us while there. Not too sure why the word ’Cream’ is in the name because I found this dark beer with a ruby hue to be watery and fairly harsh at the same time and certainly not ’creamy’. There was a slight woody, nutty feel to both the aromas and taste but this did not float my boat: sorry Gareth.

Bottled 310ml. -from Mercado de Ponta Negra, Natal. Almost black coloured, medium sized creamy brownish head, chocolate and touch of metal in the nose. Light roasted malt, milk chocolate and some licorice with notes of caramel and grain. Touch of alcohol in the finish. Not so bad but really nothing special here.

A brown porter with no head. In aroma, chalky chocolate with strange grain notes. In mouth, a light peaty chocolate with gyprock notes, mineral notes, boring.
