Funky clove nose, akin to battery acid. Hazy yellow, thick head. Sour coriander and cabbage flavor. Much spicier than fruity and slightly vegetal. DMS is more prominent when warm. Aside from defects, itβs still quite enjoyable. Refreshing.

Bottle 33 cl. Apperance; Yellow, a bit hazy with a short lived white head. Aroma; Sour, yeast and some fruits, nice. Flavor; Lemon, fruits with some yeast and wheaty sence. The aroma was better than flavor....

Big bubbly head, with a deep, cloudy, yellow-orange color. Big citrus aroma, orange, with clean malt. Not very sweet at all, with nice sour edge and no spice. Dry overall, with a bit of bitter at the end. Not very fragrant or super flavorful, but a clean, crisp and austere wit that rreally hit the spot and is a break from overly sweet and spicy ones.

33cl Bottle. Hazy yellow color with nice foamy white head. Very aromatic with citric notes. Flavor is also very citric with flowery notes. Rather unusual.

750 ml corked bottle. Just $6 at Samβs because its label was missing. "Best Before End 12/08." Poured straight down a weizen glass to see a seafoam like head over a rather clear body for a wit. Smell brings up nice lemongrass notes, a bit of champagne. Not a little German hefeweizen character, just missing the banana. Taste has a bit of honey, but also a finished dryness. My nose has been stuffy, so I may be missing the more subtle citrusy notes of a wit. Weighs lightly on the tongue, like a summer refresher more than a beer for settling back. More grassy notes come up further down, and a nice tartness with some grains. A little gassy going down, but thatβs per style.

330 ml bottle from Royal Liquors in Kansas City. Lot G, best before end 12 - 2007 notched on the label. Pour is clear, light golden. Smallish white head. Decent stickiness to the head as lace develops. Aroma of honey, lemon citrus, clove, wheat notes and yeasty spiciness. Sweet and spicy, interesting nose. Taste is the sharp honey, sourish lemon citrus, Candi sugar, wheat, and a phenolic spiciness to the yeasty finish. Palate is medium, mouth coating - a bit grassy and the sweet cloys some towards the finish. This was an interesting, not the crisp thirst quenching variety, but still interesting. Would be interesting to try this fresh(er).

330ml Bottle - Hazy amber in colour. Fruity and lightly hoppy aroma with spice and pineapple. Fruity and spicy taste with hints of pineapple and tea. Not as good as I remember it, but still very nice.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, yellow colour with a thick foamy white head. Slightly sweet, wheaty and lemon-fruity, slightly zesty aroma. Mildly sweet flavour with a light acidic touch, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Lemon-fruity and grainy taste with a present wheat-character, lingering into the slightly tart finish. Easy-going and refreshing Wit, leaving out the usual spices (22.III.09).
