Aroma of malt, caramel, tropical fruits, some citrus, red berries, pine, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Not smashing but an enjoyable hoppy Red Ale.

Bottled. Reddish amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is malts, some fruits, some nutty and mild herbal notes. Flavour is nutty, some sweet malts, fruits, mild wooden notes as well as some nice bitterness in the finish.

[ As Brew By Numbers 16/02 Red Ale - Amarillo Citra Simcoe ].Unclear dark amber red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, candy, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, candy, sweet caramel, hoppy, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20141206]

[9/23/15] Draught at Craft & Draft in Amsterdam. Clear reddish amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruity hops, a bit soapy. Sweet malty flavor with caramel and bitter hops, piney, a bit fruity. Medium-bodied.

Bottle.Dark red/brown colour with small head.Aroma is fruity of red berries and dark dried fruits,also nice notes of hops,most citra and greapfruits,nice well balanced with a good long taste and smooth finish.

Tap @ In De Wildeman, sample size. Red-brown color. Off white to beige head. Aromaโs: Red fruit, sweet malts. Retronasal itโs caramel, roast, drop, light sour fruit. Flavor is roasted, moderate bitter. Light bodied. Finishes with caramel and rather bitter. Better than your average Amber Ale.

Sampled draft @ Oersoep Craft Beer Festival 2015. Reddish dark brown, huge mocha head. Nose is blue cheese hops, light malts & sweetish mocha. Taste is mocha, grapefruit & blue cheese hops, bitter mocha, powdery, touch malt. Bit powdery body. Very solid & very nice BIPA.
