Bottle from batch 001 Bottle 2014. Bottled 1/2/12. Slow gusher, pours with mild chunks, hazed copper with lasting tan head of foam. Aromas are nutty, plums, raisins, currants, leather, prunes, chocolate and light phenols. Medium malt character. A bit spicy with some peppery alcohol notes (and a touch of fusel). Flavors are medium metallic, very sweet, berries, nutty, astringent tannic extraction, malty. Medium esters, caramel, chocolate, nutty, cocoa, DMS vegital. Lively bubbles, medium dry. Needs some work.

On tap at draught house. Pours a cloudy orange with virtually no head. The aroma is citrus and fruity malt. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet fruit and dry finish.
