BL z wczorajszego 10k :) Kuzwa, pomerdalem piwa, wiec update, bo to faktycznie mialo ewidentna kiszonke taka. Plus przyprawowosci troche. Nie jest to dobre ale odswiezajace to i owszem ;)

Bottle. Yellow color with thick white head. Aroma of malt, spices, oranges. Taste, malt, yeast, oranges, lemon, other fruits, wood. Good one.

Collaboration between Brussels' de la Senne and one of the champions of the spontaneous fermentation revival in America, 75 cl bottle from Geers in Oostakker near Ghent. Snow white, frothy, medium thick, fluffy head on a hazy pale golden beer with somewhat greenish tinge. Aroma of raw and not-yet-sweet pineapple, freshly cut young sorrel leaves, sourdough, lemon flesh, mandarin peel, chalk, baking soda, green unripe gooseberry, touch of slurry pit (alas), sour cream, old herbarium, hard pear, dusty attic, grass silage. Crisp, tart onset, green apple, gooseberry, redcurrant and a dash of lime perhaps, vague and very restrained apricot-like sweetishness within, very lively and minerally, initially even stinging carbonation. Slim cereally pale malt middle dried by lactic sourness which never becomes sharply acidic; dry, leading to an even drier, dusty finish, the dry and dusty effect mostly coming from tannic effects of the wooden barrel, matching with ongoing lactic acidity, earthy yeastiness and eventually quite pronounced, grassy, weedy hop bitterness, rather strongly so for a sour. Minerally and fruity aspects linger afterwards. A refreshing, crisp, dry golden sour the modern way, with enough 'old dustiness' to it to remain interesting throughout the entire bottle. Not bad at all and indeed equally uniting Senne's and De Garde's respective house styles.

28 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, 77ships & tderoeck! Hazy pale yellow, lasting, unstable, frothy, white head. Aroma of wheat, lemongrass, white bread, yellow apple, kitchen herbs, lactic acid, ‘pure’ milk even. Taste is medium funky sour, quite milky & lactic, supplemented by notes of unripe fruit, yeast & sourdough, bitter hints of grass, pepper, herbs, white grape, slightly woody. Dryish, funky, bit peppery hoppy finish, more unripe fruit & lactic touches. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Well-made hybrid.

Clear pale blond to straw yellow beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very funky, some artificial brett impressions, citrus, more funk, barn yard. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sourish, lemony, acidic, little bitter, funky, floral. Aftertaste: more fruity, little bitter, funky.
