Sample @ SBWF. True to style and straight forward IPA with heavy notes of citrus and grapefruit. Maybe a bit too sweet.

33 cl. can shared by FlavioSP. Split by 2. Thank you! Hazy orange, little white head. Hazy creamy orange, fruity hops, citrus, sweet white bread. Taste is milky, tad white bread yeast, orange bitter, citrus, fruity, mellow hops, fruity,… Tad milky yeasty body. Too yeast forward for an IPA but still very nice, easy going beer to drink.

I received a can from Joes. Thanks Joes! You’re great, Joes! Clear golden amber colour with a small to medium sized off-white head. Smells hops, slightly floral, sweet, fruity, grapefruit, hint of pineapple, slightly yeasty. Tastes quite bitter, hint of esters but not too much to ruin it, hint of aspirine, malts, fresh, nicely hoppy and slightly grassy. Medium body, nice slightly fizzy carbo. Crisp and refreshing beer.

How: Can, straight from the canning line before the top got put on.
Where: At the bewery.
Appearance: Hazy golden colour with a white head.
Aroma: Floral, hops, perfume, citrus, oranges.
Body: Medium body and carbonation. A bit oily mouthfeel.
Flavour: Floral, some fruit, light malt, hops, pine. Bitter finish.
Comment: Never had an IPA this fresh, so I imagine it will score a little bit lower if aged.

Tap(@Brewery, RBESG 2014): Deep golden, hazy, small off-white head; solid dry piney and grapefruity nose, backed by quite a small amount of pale malt; solid dry bitter flavour, only a delicate sweetness detectable; hops sticking to the palate in the lingering dry grapefruity finish. Hats off…

330ml can. Hazy amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Very intensely resinous, hoppy aroma with high risk of turning to metallic, notes of pine, spruce, conifers in general. Taste is dry, resinous hoppy, slightly fruity with hints of orange, tangerine, orange zest, almost completely absorbed caramel malty sweetness, very dry, minimally chalky finish. Relatively one-sided, resin-accentuated, but of insane intensity, even a freshly hewed trunk in the middle of conifer brothers on a logging truck isn’t exposed to comparable concentrations of resinous evaporations.

330ml can from BeerRitz. Hazy golden amber colour, frothy white foam head and aroma of tropical fruits, peach, pine, citrus, hoppy. Taste is sweetish malt caramel with tangy grapefruit & woody pine hop resin bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry spicy earthy bitter finish. Quite drinkable IPA.
