Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Lovely fresh, citrusy hops - if a little greasy and herbal. Medium body, a very dry fruitiness and then a very solid hop kick leaving a massive bitterness. A very pleasant surprise. 260713

Very hazy caramel golden colour, firm white head. Aroma of hops, quite fruity, light sweat, honey, resin, some spicy yeast. Bitter hoppy flavour, sweet malty body. Bitter finish, fruity hops, solid malt touch.
Just what I needed to recuperate after a thirsty evening at a festival venue with no beers to drink besides foul Tuborg Green. Great stuff, this!
It was brought to my attention that the Gæðingur IPA I had at Micro Bar was this one. Didn’t find any barnyard or sour milk notes though.

Tap. Shared with Stefan @Micro Bar, Reykjavik. Hazy golden body with creamy layer on top. Beautiful lacing. Aroma: horse blanket, sour milk (kefir) and cloudberries. Tastes of grain, moss and hint of cloudberries and kefir in the finish. This reminds me of childhood in North-Norway, almost feeling a bit melancholic and definitely think this is an IPA with an Icelandic twist. Iceland and North-Norway have much in common!:-) 14.Jul.2012
