Our showpiece, Weldebrouck Tripel, is a combination in which only the finest hops are used. A secret ingredient also gives a fragrant aftertaste and light touch in the aftertaste. The real secret: a unique combination of beer yeast provides an incomparable aroma! The beer is also fermented in the bottle, method champagne, and has an alcohol percentage of 8.5%. Weldebrouck is a blonde tripel with a lush taste: soft and yet strongly fruity, so that despite the high alcohol content both men and women can taste this beer in balance.

Huge, fluffy white head over clear golden beer, fine pearling. Lots of meaty esters in the nose, meatstock, finely resolving itself into a coriander overdose - if nowhere on the label. Very soupy in any case. Some more coriander, and lots more of DMS, giving it a shellfish streak, and a bitterish upsurge, then foundering into neutralness with a lot of carbonation. Bit buttery, also in feel. Aftertaste gives more and more sugar warming up. Champenoise pearling, very slick, medium bodied at best. If you're into drinking the liquid in the mussel' pot, this is your beer. Frankly, I find this a disaster.

Hazy medium golden colour, average frothy off-white head, gradually receding to a thick layer, good lacing. Malty aroma, overripe apple, yeast, vinegar, barnyard. Taste light heavy to medium sweet and light bitter, sourish touch, malty, yeasty, again overripe fruit, sweetbitter aftertaste, light sourish and herbal notes. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, average tripel.

(Bottle, 0.33 - BBE 2016, at Gastropub Tuulensuu, 20160806) The beer golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey and clove. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, honey, yeast, clove, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, hoppy and bitter. A bit harsh for a tripel.

Pale yellow with thin head. Aroma has floral notes and sweeteners. Not much depth or complexity to this Tripel. Too sweet.
