A kind of ’edelbier’ from the guys (obsoletely) trying to recreate the Biertoren brewery. Creamy, egg-white, quickly opening head over a cloudy peach blonde robe, almost amber but not quite there. Refreshing, not unpleasant flavour of subtle fruit sweetness, apple, peach and a very subdued hint of orange peel, melon is there too, supple and lean mouthfeel, slight nutty touch, light on the tongue considering it has 7.5% ABV, gentle herbal hop bitterness in the end, alcohol well hidden. In all, a technically good beer, appetizing and quite enjoyable by all means, but I do wonder what this brewing company has to add to an already overcrowded Belgian ale landscape.
