Bottle, 75cl corked, shared by Brugmansia. When opened, the beer tried to escape the bottle slowly, and left a dark golden body with microfloaties and an off-white head of reasonable size but with little retention. Dusty, sour and lemony on the nose, but not in an unpleasant way. The flavor was dusty, sour and lemony too, with some spicyness and bitterness. Dry, sourish and slightly astringent in the mouth, finishing with some bitterness. Sure gone bad, but still drinkable in small amounts. (080823)

75cl bottle: Pours hazy amber with a small creamy bubbly head. Nose is yeasty & spicy. Medicine & herbal. Flat mouthfeel. A bit sour & could be infected but actually still quite drinkable!

Bottled. Hazy amber colour with small particles floating around. Mediumsized beige thick head, that leaves nice lace. Aroma is very fruity while pouring, afterwards it gets grassy and wooden along with some toffee and even licorice. Flavour is wooden, toffeeish as well as grassy. finish gets a bit ashes, licorice, wood and mild roast. Aftertaste is mainly grassy. A different brew. Quite refreshing.

Bottled (BB 03/2009). Slightly hazy amber color, small but steady off-white head. Aroma has hay, licorice, metal and some sweet notes. Starts quite metallic, then some caramelly notes mixed with alcohol. Toffee and licorice together with bitterness in the aftertaste. Lacks some way depth in charatcer although is drinkable.

Non-transparant orange to amber; good but small white head, leaving some lace. Very fresh nose with green herbs (thyme,...), a bit of coloured malts, and some candi sugar. Taste, rather dry, yields caramel, tobacco (pipe - especially). Finishes with a little pinprick of acidity. Medium to well bodied, yeast slick. Very fine, more subtle beer, despite its respectable strenght. Gives a very fresh impression.
