Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Sweet malty nose, perfumy and coriandery - no way this is a Heller Bock! (I see sugars and spices are added, hence I’ll change this to a Belgian Ale). Medium body, sweet malt, fruit and yeast. Some hops in the finish. Not bad - just not a Bock goddammit! 030511

Bottle, thx to fonefan. A dense, finger-thick off-white head sits patiently on top of a clear, golden body. The aroma leads my thoughts to Belgium rather than Germany, at least it’s a very Belgium influenced bock. Fruity and sugary with a spiced yeasty touch. Quite nice though. The same goes for the flavor, which as the aroma leads my thoughts to Belgium. Lacks on bitterness. Full-bodied, almost sticky, yet quite dry-ish. A quite nice one but fails to pin the style, at least if it’s supposed to be a bock beer. Haven’t deducted points for that miss though. 110219

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, flowers, moderate yeasty, spicy, coriander. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, coriander, light peppery. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO aroma and flavor is witbier alike or Biere de Garde .. not a bock beer ! [20110122]

Bottled. Bronze colour, rich form head. Yeasty orange marmelade aroma. Sweet and fruity. Soft caramelly solid malty body, notes of syrup. ow bitterness. More lkie a Belgian style ale than a bock with its fruityness. Good!
