Keg at BBF 6, day 1, 26/09/14. Clear golden orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose carries a citric zip, straw, bitter orange. Taste comprises tangy citric notes, smoke evident, lapsang souchong, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok effort.

Sampled @ Borefts 2014. Clear yellow golden color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell malts, smoke, a hint of peat. Taste malts, smoke, clearly some peat in there, fingerpaint. Don’t like it, and I don’t get anything IPA - ish. Not my thing at all.

At BBF 14 Pours clear blonde , no head. Smell is smoke , taste is bitter . Smoked , bacon-ish , but really intense on the smoke . Aftertaste ( luckely ) fades fast .

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2014. Thank you! Amber, yellow, small white. Nose is smoke, peat, caramel. Peated taste, oily, caramel, mineral, sugar, iodine, med. body. Not what I expected but interesting for sure.

@Borefts 2014, amber met witte kraag. aroma van de rookmouten komt je snel tegemoet, verder als basis pilsmouten en een zoetje. smaken zijn redelijk moutig, de rokerigheid komt ook in de mond terug, kruidig, glad en zacht van textuur, zwak bittertje, zwak zoet. Vrij lichte body, afdronk iets bitter. Echter niet al te veel IPA kenmerken, enkel wat lichte den, niet slecht voor een rokerig biertje..

sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2014: trübes braunes Bier mit wenig Schaum. Geruch fruchtig, Karamell. Geschmack mild hopfig, Karamell, schokoladig, getreidig.

Clear dark beer, creamy yellowish head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty peated, smoky, little fruity, and the aroma of this IDIOT who thinks it's funny to smoke vanilla cigars at a beer festival. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very peated, more peated malts, bitter touch, some citrus, smoky, a bit off. Aftertaste: very peated, bitter. A failed experiment if you ask me..
