Keg at Muted Horn, Berlin, 23/07/22. Almost clear golden orange with a decent just off white covering that thins to a swirl. Nose is funk, tangy apple skins, wood must, pissy alleyway, herb. Taste comprises funk, damp cloth, apple core, lemon rind, herb, wood must, sharp apple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a puckering bite. Solid.

Draft: Poured a hazy yellow color lambic with a thin lacing head. Aroma of trat funky ester with some apple juice notes. Taste is also a mix of apple juice notes with some tart funky ester. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable but apple juice doesn't pair as well as I had expected.

A lightly hazed golden Gueuze with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity mix of apples, light Brett, light talcum, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity apple mix with light Epsom salts, light acidity, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. On tap at l'autre oeil.

(21 - 22 series version on tap @ Griendel, Quebec City, Sep 29/22) Pours nearly clear straw gold with a tiny white head and no lace. Aroma of fairly sweet apple flesh with soft gooseberry and citric acidity, a little wood, lightly lactic, moderately funky. Flavour is moderately acidic, lightly sweetish apple juice balanced with lemony citrus and a little bit of gooseberry bite, moderately woody, touches of funk but not heavily so, a little apple skin tannin, drying, apple in the aftertaste. Light body, touch watery, low carbonation. Not my favourite of the versions, apple isn't particularly strong, cider-like but not on the level of a good farmhouse cider.

Draught @ Moeder Lambic. Smooth and heavy with sweetish apple juice notes, mild tartness and funky farmyardy yeastiness with hints of sourness. Quite cidery lambic.

Draft at Tilquin during open beer days. Friday morning beer time... Color: Hazy golden, thin fast disappearing white head. Aroma: Funky, tart, fruity, apple hints, Taste: Farmyard funk, over moderate tart, fruity grape, berries, subtle apple and some applepeel. Tannins. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Nice.
