Bottle at a tasting, beers courtesy of Dusan & Simona. Mostly malty, caramelly, moderate rose herbal tea flavours. Equal sweetness and bitterness. Good but not great.

33 cl bottle served in Leffe chalice. Pours hazy amber to brown, long-lasting head. Aroma is very intense: coriander, juniper berries, pink pepper. Taste is velvety (almost no carb), sour and umami, no real bitterness. Long lingering aromatic finish. Different, boozy and interesting.

Bottle. At a guess, this came to Australia because they failed to stick the labels on properly. Mid brown with a fine beige head that lasts really well. Spicy lemon fresh aroma is very cleaning product at first but more subtle lemon myrtle or prickly ash after a while. Underneath is a toasty dough. A sip suggests it _is_ prickly ash (numbing included) - I like it but it's too much. But it melds effectively with spicy doughy yeast and some caramel and grilled peach. And after a while I kind of admire that they've gone for it rather than put a hint of spice in there. Alcohol is present but well integrated. Bold, interesting.

Shalom Japan, NYC bottle: seems that you can only get this in Japanese or pseudo Japanesd restaurants. Pours a light red with a white head. Aroma is spicy, yeasty and lightly fruity. Taste is fairly light for the size. Some spice. Easy drinking. Pretty good.

330 ml bottle. Hazy reddish brown color. Small creamy tan head. Tart fruity toasted malt flavor has spicy notes from the sansho peppercorns. Midtaste hints at berries and cocoa. Smooth, easy drinking and complex. Some yeasty, dry, peppery notes in finish. Warming alcohol as well. Quite unique.

Bottle, small stable creamy head, very cloudy darkish red color with rusty orange taints, aroma of fruit candy and citrus with yeasty and oxidised hints, flowery, fruit dcandy flavor with a lemony citrusy and shrubby hints, medium bodied and quite smooth. Highly enjoyable.
