Aged sample Good, dense creamy head, cream-coloured over hazy amberish orange beer. Green leaves, sweet & toasted malts, crystal malt, almonds, perfumey. Hardly oxydation, but the hopflavours are seriously diminished. Still, I found exotic fruit & banana. Bit herbal, faintly soapy, aromatic. Bit pappy, long-ish bitterish hops' aftertaste; medium bodied. More than decent. Thx to Stef for sharing! 6/4/7/3/14

Tap at Mad for Beer in Rome. Amber proper pour, quite hazy and bright. Off white compact head. Nose: sweet malty, feet, socks. Mouth: amber maltiness, confusing body with a tart finish.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 10. 01. 18, from Alko, 20171215) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice hoppy brew.

On tap at 2. Celler Bierfest. Comes with a hazy dark golden color and avery nice, large white head. The nose is fruity, mostly sweet tropical fruit like mango and pineapple, some floral and very intense hoppy aromas. Taste is a little ’old style’ nice pine needles and grapefruit-peel combined with the more intense pineapple fruit- Very nice hoppy finish. Good stuff!

A very nice English IPA. There was a surprising, but very pleasant earthiness to the flavour and a very smooth mouth feel. The fruity hops were present, but I keep coming back to that quite wonderful earthy flavour that developed as the beer warmed. It was drunk with food and that just added to the depth. A really, really good beer.
