Double IPA brewed with malted and caramel rye to give a sweet, spicy malt base. Vermont yeast gives a big chewy body with peach, apricot and perfumed notes. Centennial and Citra in the whirlpool, followed by a double dry hop of Cascade, Mosaic and Citra, gives a complex bouquet of stone fruits, grapefruit, rosewater and berries.

Can. Hazy orange - gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, very light, still reasonably sweet, even a little thin creamy sweetness. Decently citric hops, some bright orange but as much dry pith. Light tangerine and mandarin. Pine. Tangy spice. Fairly dry finish. Not turning somersaults about the palate but there is still much to like here.

Can at home, 26/12/18. Hazed golden orange with a well presented light beige covering. Nose is orange pith, grapefruit zest, toasted malts, apricot jam, melon. Taste comprises bitter orange, light pine needle, cantaloupe melon, papaya, sweet malts, soft breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with juicy hop bitterness. Decent well balanced and easy drinking DIPA.

440ml can at home. Pours a deep golden yellow, decent white head that sticks around. Nose is all tropical fruit hops and sweet bready malts. Similar to their IPA with the added abv for a DIPA. Nice bitter finish
