Clear chestnut/brown pour with a small tan head (which dissapears after a while). Roasted malt, hints of cocoa and caramel, slightly bitter finish. OK overall

Small tan-ish head, shards of lace over cola-coloured beer. Faint ureum, dark malts and melanoidins, faintly coloured malts. Soft sweetness with a woody, malty backbone, chestnuts, and in the verh finish some fine hoppiness; old paper. Medium bodied, good carbonation. Very decent Dunkel.

Wässriger, wenig röstiger Antrunk von mildem Malz. Wässrig herber Mittelteil, süffig, eintönig. Geringe Karbonisierung, geringfügig bitter zum Ende. Okay. 11/8/7/8//7

.3 litre glass at the brewery on 12th May 2017. Sat in the early evening sun on their patio area. This was the second beer of the evening I tried. Ruby hue to the brown body, beige head on top. Malty brew with a semi-sweet nature, mild herbal notes accompany the malts in both the nose and taste. Liked it.

20-11-16 // bottle from the brewpub. Enjoyed at home. Pours a clear light to medium brown beer. Light roast malts aroma. Bit watery texture. Medium sweet. Average.

On tap at the brewpub. Klare orange braune Farbe, mittelgroße beige schaumkrone. Geruch mild röstmalzig, würzig. Geschmack würzig hopfig, karamellig, lang anhaltende Bitterkeit.

Sampled from bottle @ RBBSG 2015. Hazy dark orange to reddish color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly bitter, dry. Too firm carbonation. Meh at best.

Thanks! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ “Hot & Sweaty RBBSG 2015”. BBF 05.08.2015. Dark brown amber, little bubbles. Odd herbal nose, leaves, dull, sweetish, thin, leaves,… Taste is thin, a bit nasty, dirty leaves, syrupy, thin metallic, bad leaves, sugar,… Thin & somewhat artificial tasting, not a fan.

Clear amber brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, sweet, grains, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: pretty bitter, very malty, grains, hoppy touch. Aftertaste: hoppy, very malty, grains, little sugary, very German profile, meh.

Malzig-trocken, leicht fruchtig-malzig. Weich, trotzdem trocken. Im Nachgeschmack fruchtig ohne zu trocken zu sein, schön passend herb-freisch. Leckeres Dunkel! 10/11/11/9
