It’s time to bring some Belgian inspired beer to the hipster hub of East London and beyond. This is unlike no other beer that you would have tasted by a British brewery. An individual within its class…a standout. So very Shoreditch. A fantastic beer for those looking to expand their beer palate. If you are partial to white wine this could be the beer for you. Pairs great with seafood dishes, cheese boards and a nice bit of crusty bread…we like grabbing a few of these for a day spent on the picnic blanket!

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Hazy golden colour, white head. Strong aroma of citrussy hops, notes of lime and lemongrass. Citrussy hops in the flavour too, not much malt presence. Medium bitter finish.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Tau 18.10.14. Pale, and slightly hazy, yellow. White head. Lime, grapefruit and lemon grass in aroma and taste. Also some of the off-tastes that come with use of too my much lime- and citrus-like American hops.

Bottle from Vino Wines. Murky bronze body with a off-white sludgy head. Light lacing. Aroma of lemon, grapefruit and musty yeast. Flavour of grass, cardboard and a hint of grapefruit. Medium body with an oily texture. Ugly and forgettable. A far cry from the excellence of the last Redchurch beer I tried (Old Ford Export Stout).
