Sample thanks to danlo! Clear golden yellow appearance. Rich muscovado, caramel emerging on the nose. Continues to taste, strong muscovado, sweet rich apple fruit, vanilla, toffee, oily on the palate, woody hints. Sweet and hefty overall. Decent.

28/10/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear copper/bronze with minimal head. Aroma of rich sweet apple pie, toffee, vanilla, touch of wood. Medium plus sweetness and light tartness. Medium to full body, sticky texture, soft to flat carbonation. Tangy and sharp to finish to complement the sweetness. Good stuff.

On the nose a little bit of warm apple pie, apple skin and pips, Taste is initially a little bit boozy but this rapidly subsides, sweetness aparrent, streaky bite, so concentrated, marvellous, simply marvellous.

Taste is sweet, tangy, concentrated apple, fruity, apple pie, caramel, syrupy with soft spicy tannin. Oily mouthfeel, full bodied, low carbonation, dry & tart finish with lingering sweetness. Original review text: 187ml bottle from Fine Cider Co. Pommeliers Club box. Deep orangey amber golden-brown colour, no head and aroma of apple pie, pastry, vanilla, wood barrel, oak. Taste is sweet, apple pie, fruity apple, woody, barrel, oaky, vanilla, pastry, tannic notes. Oily syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, residual sweet drying woody oak tannic finish. Very sippable indeed!

Thanks to Lars for bringing me this from Sweden! Buttery oaky apple, WOW. Sour apple moving to sweet caramel, vanilla notes, you taste the full apple (how do they do that!). The pinnacle of all apple beverages. Comparing these ice ciders is apples vs. apples.

Clear dark amber. Aroma is raisins apple skin apple and almond with a good amount of sweetness. Taste is fresh sour with intense caramel and apple sweetness. Lots of fruit and apple caramel in the finish. A bit vanilla. Some cream. Amazing.

Bottle. Clear deep amber color with no head. Aroma is cooked apples, caramel, wood, red apples. Taste is bratapfel, wood, caramel, a bit tannic in the back. Oily mouthfeel, medium to high tannins, the right amount I think, flat. As always, great stuff!
