Nein. Zuallererst. Lange. Richtig lange. Spritzig, frisch, schlank und mit deutlicher Bittere. Keinesfalls nur Sommerbier. Unser aller Lieblingsbier!

It is a good example of the style, even within good american versions. Really an ipa, great balance of bitterness, hoppyness, and lots of malt body to balance. Lagerhuys ams

Eingetrübte gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfiger, fruchtiger, leicht malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich hopfig, fruchtig, leicht hefig, leicht malzig. Leicht süß mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Flascherl (From the magnificent Garching Guys!): Looking like lemon juice with a smaller creamy white head, moderate to robust dryish lemony/grapefruity juicy nose, other aromas hardly detectable, presumably a pinch of yeast; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; returning heavy fruityness in the lingering bitter-sweet, almost with malty traces underneath, finish. Really good, as brewed by Herr Kurz himself...

Bottle in Lokaltausch Runde 2. Huge thanks to Jonas! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Mild lemon aroma, some elder hints. Starts mild, fresh hoppy, fruity, some lemon. Mild sweetness. Again some elder hints. Finish well balanced. Nice.

American style pale ale brewed in Austria; can from BeerFreakChick. Mousy, snow white, bit irregular head, slowly opening on a cloudy apricot blonde beer with ochre-ish to pale beige tinge. Aroma of fresh mandarin, green mango, lime zest, dough, kumquat, maracuja, some lychee, hint fresh thyme. Fruity onset, green mango, melon and lychee notes, softish carbonation, lean and supple, bit doughy-cereally malt body drenched in brightly aromatic, citric hoppiness, a bit tropical with that mango hint, even pointing a bit at blood orange, while adding mild spicy bitterness to the finish; remains colourful, light, fruity and juicy till the last drop. Very elegant, streamlined and expressive interpretation of a ‘hazy’ APA, well done.

Bottle from Stiegl Salzburg. Pale, cloudy yellow with a tall white head. Lovely fruity hoppy nose. Light-to medium-bodied with a shy malty base and lots of fruity hops in the lingering finish.
