Stelle e Strisce is a golden Session Ale with a low alcohol content. We dedicated it to the american flag because we use an explosive cocktail of american hops, with an abundant dry-hopping. According to this technique, we add the hops during the fermentation to give fresh and intense aromas: the result is a bomb of herbaceous and citrusy flavors. Wonderfully balanced, with a light body and a bitter final in perfect American style!

Hazy yellow with medium white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, grapefruit and citrus. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, grapefruit, little sweet and quite sweet.

Bottle in the hotel - Rome. Picked up at Johnny’s Off Licence. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a frothy white head. Aroma holds some dried orange and grapefruit, a bit of pale bread, some spicy pine needles. Medium sweet flavor with some dirty grass and hay, more citrus fruits, a bit of rind, mellow sticky pine. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat sticky and resinous to finish, more rindy citrus fruit character, grassy bitterness, mild alcohol kick. Decent.

Cloudy orange-blond color, generous head. Green aroma, hops and apples, some yeast. Smooth mouthfeel, good and lean toffee flavor with fruity hops, bitter oranges.
Very fresh.

Pours amber with a small fading head.Big, hoppy aroma. Lots of spicy, piny, floral and grapefruit hops. Also some soft clean malt.Similar hoppy flavours. More spicy, piny and almost herbal hops. Not much going on underneath.Body feels a little watery. Highly over-carbonated.

Slightly hazy amber color, good off-white head. Piney-resiny, a bit fruity sweetish aroma. Light-bodied. Starts a bit fruity, then good resiny hoppyness and lingering bitterness. Nice 3.9% beer.

From tap at Open Baladin. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is crisp hoppy, citrusy and mellow pechy. Dry and solid bitter. Grapefruity and citrusy hoppy.

25/06/2011 Open Baladin Roma (tap). Bionda, dorata, intensa e limpidissima, bel cappello di schiuma bianca, morbida e molto persistente. Aroma straordinariamente intenso di luppolo, deciso ma mai troppo aggressivo, con bellissime note agrumate. In bocca è amara senza compromessi, con un bel finale intenso. Corpo medio, consistenza vellutata, buona carbonazione. A dispetto della gradazione alcolica bassa e della sua buona beverinità, questa birra ha davvero un bel carattere.

Draught @ Cruise Roma - Barcelona, Un Mare di Birra, Grimaldi Lines.Clear medium yellow colour with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, fruity, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, elmon, lime. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, pale citrus hops, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110612]
