Light amber colour, white head. Aroma of oats, wheat, malts, yeast, apricot and citrus. Bitter flavour, malts and grains. Quite thin. Bitter finish, grains. Interesting experiment, great story.

75cl bouteille @ RBBWG III, thanks Tinus.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2014. Courtesy of & thx! to Martinus. Limited to 98 bottles. Hazy orange with a very fluffy white head. Smells of coffee, herbs, grains & lots of hops. Taste is a bit odd, strange grain flavour throughout (which apparently was Brinta), lots of hops, herbal hoppy note, instant coffee, bitter herbs in the finish. Carbonation is quite high. Okay but expected more from it. I did appreciate it more after learning that it had been made with Brinta. Oersoep’s newly build brewery is housed in a former Brinta factory.

18/I/14 - 75cl bottle @ RBBWG III, my place - bottled: 12/XII/13 (2014-106) Thanks to Tinus for sharing the bottle!

Little hazy orange beer, irregular off-white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of vanilla, sweet, caramel, some dried fruits, apricots. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, citrus, hoppy, grassy, very bitter. Aftertaste: bitter, medicinal even, very dry, bit metallic. Does anyone taste the Brinta in this one?
