Bottle, 1 liter, bottled 15.03.21, bbf 15.04.21. Color: Clear amber to reddish copper, frothy off-white head. Aroma: MAlty, bread, some caramel notes. Taste: Moderate to over moderate sweet malt, caramel notes, combined with decent hopbitterness. Very light citrus hints. Bread and toast notes. Long lasting dry and malty finish with bread and moderate bitter hoppy notes. Quite dense and smooth almost creamy mouthfeel. Just over medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice Alt beer.

At last! Swing top bottle @ LCRBM 2008. Pale amber color. Flowery hops and malt in the aroma. Malty sweetish firm flowery hopbitter flavor. Long earthy citric hopbitter aftertaste. Perfect balance. German beer at its very best.

1 l bottle from Getränkefeinkost Münster shared with my family in law at their Christmas party. Dark amber in the glass, nearly reddish. Malty fruity smell. Taste is more dry malty, increasing sweet malty in the second part. Low carbonated. Nice.

Anstich @ In De Wildeman, small vaatje at the bar, filled 14 March 2018 (bb 14 April 2014 so right on time). Clear brown color. Rocky and somewhat frothy off white head. Aroma's of caramel, soft/sweet red fruit. Retronasal it's caramel malt, roasted grain, fruity. Flavor is light sweet, dark malts, light bitter. Light medium bodied. Long finish with dark malts and a firm bitterness eventually. Very happy to be able to try this without having to travel to Düsseldorf at exactly the right day.

1 l bottle from De Bierkoning, bottled on 15/9/2015 (three weeks old). Clear, orangeish amber with a medium large, creamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Sweetish-malty aroma of raisins, nuts, caramel and brown sugar. Sweetish-malty taste of raisins, caramel, brown sugar and nuts, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite sweet but with enough hops in the finish. Highly quaffable and quite tasty, well-crafted.

At a tasting, thanks, small stable creamy head, hazy copper color, yeasty, grainy flavor with some caramel, flavor of caramel and nuts with some jammines and a pleasant herbal bitterness. Pleasant and quite drinkable.
