1l-bottle, kindly delivered by pivnizub - díky, díky, díky! Clear amber colour, lovely beige head. Hoppy-caramelly nose. Full-bodied, solid malty bas with lovely biter hoppy flavours and a herbal touch. Hints of caramel, roasted malts and toffee. A delicious beer!

The bottle looks not really good, but the beer in the glass is incredible. Copper-coloured, fine creamy head. Starts strong and dry, prickly-malty. Finish is a bit weeker, notes are not as intense as before. Good beer.

Etwas fruchtig. Gut, aber nicht super. Test vom 16.11.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 9,10,11,12,11,11 - 10,80

(Bottle 100 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Pours a beautiful, warm, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving a neat lacework. Sweetish, lightly nutty aroma. Medium body, distinctly sweet, roasted malt with lots of fruity esters - extremely fresh actually. Dry and hoppy finish. Very delicate indeed. 030407

Bottle at the RBG Low Countries 2005 tasting session
Clear, orange body. Good, off-white head (mostly diminishing). Nose of white port, liquor and grain. Lightly acidic, moderately bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter, long finish. Lightly bodied. Watery texture. Fizzy carboation. Nice in it’s style, but maybe a little bit watery.

Amber coloured, almost ruby, thick ivory head; sweet, extremely full-bodied and warm in the beginning, well balanced with an extremely long, hoppy aftertaste. Available only three days a year. Don’t miss it ! Re-Rate 17/11/05 (Latzen-Tag): Extremely well balanced and moreish..... Re-Rate 20/11/19 Superbly balanced, malty-toasty and smooth body, long hopy aftertaste. Extremely well drinkable…
